On the 19th of May I hold a 60-minute introduction with regard to web to 2.0 tools in the educational seminar Oldenburg. I am curious very much like the talk / Mini-Workshop will run. The expiry should be structured as follows: Der Ablauf soll wie folgt strukturiert werden:
- Purification of the concepts Web 2.0, web 1.0 and Social media as well as short presentation some web 2.0 tools (see below).
- Deepening in the Wikiarbeit and RSS-Feeds.
- Participant feedback by comment function on impulse of thought
Two questions accompany me in the preparation: What should trainees about web 2.0 know? Which tools must be absolutely introduced? Welche Werkzeuge müssen unbedingt vorgestellt werden?
One is certain, all important web 2.0 subjects is to be torn impossibly. For example, will not be able to be treated the Authenzität in the web, security questions, dieverse platforms like mender, YouTube or Podcasts etc. My main attention lies first of all to indicate a possible use for trainees and teachers. Besides, I imagined that Wikis and RSS-Feeds own more or less the biggest potential.
Why just Wikis?
One can work together with Wikis well in groups. I think there just of the curriculum development in professional teams or the school development. At the moment I use for two classes own Wiki for the teaching documentation and supply of working sheets and sheets of information (here you look).
Why just RSS?
I find, the RSS tools are motivation tools! It serves to remain up-to-date. An example: In a professional seminar I have already held a small introduction about Wikis and the participants were persuaded at first of the added value absolutely. As a result we have brought to life a Seminar-Wiki. Now, however, it is in such a way that one hardly has time to the experimentation just in the Referendariat (what I regret very much). With the experimentation routines must be broken through. New, sometimes also uncomfortable is checked on the practise suitability. The trainees had lain down no RSS-Feed on the Wiki and therefore the Wiki hardly attracted attention. From own experience I feel it, however, as very motivating if "overnight" the invested article has further grown. Hence, I hold just in the early stage the supervision of the Wikiartikel for very recommendable.
Another reason, why the trainees the Wiki did not use, was the statement that they did not know what they could introduce. In addition compelling a common project which is worked on exclusively on the Wiki must exist. As soon as Dopplungen creep, as for example to write the article once again on Word, the Wikiprojekt is sentenced to death because the work with Word is already a routine and is not felt more than "tiresomely" in contrast to the Wiki.
The second part this article contains only the red thread for the presentation. Instead of a Powerpoint presentation I wanted to try out a direct visual company in the Blog. Time see, how does this come? Mal sehen, wie das ankommt?

I can fancy not Wikis introduce for my work to start, because.:
The introduction was good / I lacked information, because …:
Who left with pleasure off-line, a small summary (introduction Web2.0) can burden itself down.

Hello, Thorsten,
two remarks.
a) http://twitter.com/ths01 is from my view a profile side and no Twitterwall. A Twitterwall would be rather a sort of this http://twitterwallr.com/w/referendariat a listing all public Tweets to a Hashtag, e.g., Referendariat.
b) I find the comparison of web log and diaries inappropriate. Though this is often said in such a way, but I see only very much few common characteristics. The contents of a diary are not public rather seldom, already at all for unknown ones. Also comments of readers and an exchange about the contents are seldom welcome in diaries. Only the contents are provided with date / Timestamp and a personal perspective (often, not always with Blogs!) it is shown a common characteristic seems to be.
But even the assortment in a diary is different than in a Blog (chronologically in the diary, reverse chronologically in the Blog).
Above all one can be of use Blogs, however, also for things go out the everyday life of the domestic animals (Catcontent) and observations of the everyday life or respect problems.
E.G. Your Blog, but also many other EduBlogs show this in my opinion very nicely.
Why I write this here? I believe this diary comparison holds many people of it from a Blog to lead. Many would not like to sweep at all on her most internal after Outside. For a professional exchange about the usual borders away (e.g., own teacher seminar, own school or class) Blogs are not suitable very much, diaries.
I have written to one of my last web 2.0 for trainees courses also sometimes a Blogbeitrag.
Maybe this is also interesting for your participants!?
Greetings Ralf
HP: Is sorry me that I come only now for commenting. This would have certainly been better before the Workshop …

AndreasRalf!I would have already almost been surprised if nobody had in addition written something.
to a) Yes, the ths01 page is a profile side. I have only chosen this link to log in faster on the Twitterseite. However, makes no difference also anyhow whether I had on http://www.twitter.com or on http://www.twitter.com/ths01 verlinkt. I have shown the twitter.com side. It is not a real Twitterwall also, because one sees no running Tweets with Hashtags. One must activate the new Tweets over and over again. I could not show a real Twitterwall like on an EduCamp or bar camp.
to b): Also here I must agree with you anyhow. One must explain the expression diary or learning diary of course (I have also explained in the seminar). But how one says so nicely, one must fetch his listeners. From approx. 20 trainees 16 did not know the concept “Web 2.0 ″, diary, however, everybody. With a 60-minute introduction quite a lot of remains on the distance. It was for me in the introduction about the use for the school. In the break I have got absolutely positive feedback. Indeed, some meant them would have no time to try out, for example, a Wiki sometimes.
