Wishes for the Referendariat

The Coutdown runs, is on Friday a kick out of vision meeting (one would name the event in the free enterprise), at 9:00 o'clock in the teacher seminar Oldenburg. There two issues of the magazine Educational theory came exactly at the right time.

Both notebooks and in particular the subject notebook, trainee, trainees and mentors are very worth reading and let me reflect upon what I expect then, actually, in the Referendariat so.

Besides, a statement ran to me over and over again through the way:

Ideally they should present themselves (which mentors) in her own action as a model, at least, however, they must be ready to put out own professional action of a foreign judgement – what is difficult at least for teachers who are used to acting as a single fighter and in the lessons merely under age (or just once formally adult) …

This is by far my biggest wish, work in the real team, with a lot of feedback and mutual support, not after the motto: “Teamwork – nicely, one makes it” or OK, lets us sometimes exchange a few work sheets, give you to me one, then I also give to you one. No, I would like to grow in the team, I would like to recognise how everything develops, of course to the good.

My questions for Referendariat:

  1. As a rule a teacher has approx. 22 teaching hours, á 45 min which he spends at school. Go I out from a weekly hour number of 42 hours, I ask myself, how is it possible in remaining 20-hour preparation and evaluation to pursue? Individual planning, to every pupil fair, conferences enclosed … Individuelle Planung, jedem Schüler gerecht, Konferenzen eingeschlossen…
  2. How do I develop a professionalism?
  3. How do I handle with annoying pupils?
  4. How can I motivate and how I handle with unmotivated pupils?
I believe this are my most urgent questions, all other will arise already anyhow, am not also any more 25 …

Why do I blog this?: Christian Spannagel demonstrates it as a university lecturer, blog about the practise entrance. I wish 80% of support of sides of the school, or the seminar and 20% on my networks. A beginning is made … Ein Anfang ist gemacht…

    A good teamwork is not only a wishful thinking. She functions; with me with mentors, other colleagues and trainees. As a single fighter it simply becomes too much work and stress, must not be if it also differently and is better. The networks no matter whether on-line or off-line, are, in any case, what fine. bei mir mit Mentoren, anderen Kollegen und Referendaren. Als Einzelkämpfer wird’s einfach zuviel Arbeit und Stress, muss ja nicht sein, wenn’s auch anders und besser geht. Netzwerke, egal ob online oder offline, sind jedenfalls was Feines.

    To Your questions:
    1. I also had sometimes fast one 70-hour week if I have moved not paid attention and roughly a final line. With us there is, as everybody knows, no time clock, you yourself finish the work.
    2. ähmm … practice.
    3. In it I try just increasingly. Central issue, is clear and logical, for it, however, not resentful.
    4. Unfortunately, everybody cannot be motivated. But one leaves, nevertheless, not laxly and tries it over and over again. Maybe the pupils themselves make the offers which can be considered. Vielleicht machen die Schüler selbst Angebote, die berücksichtigt werden können.
